Anne Heinze

I grew up in the Boston, earned my teaching credential there, and got my feet wet in teaching in a preschool.  I then taught junior high at a wonderful Christian school in New Jersey where I met my husband who was from Chico. We moved to Chico in 2007 with our two small children, and while my husband was teaching college students at Chico State, I was homeschooling our kids.  Our youngest just graduated from high school, and I am thrilled to be back in the classroom and a part of the Hope Academy family.  I love being with my family traveling, bike riding, or just being creative at home.  Getting to serve in the 3-5 classroom is an incredible blessing. Leading these little ones to Jesus and finding playful ways to help them explore their world brings me a lot of joy.
